Apple Drops Australian Prices in line with the stronger Aussie Dollar

One of the nice surprises from yesterday’s iMac update was the $100 drip drop off all models. The new iMacs now start from $1399 RRP.

But the new iMacs aren’t the only machines to receive a price drop.

Mac Prices Australia notes the entry level Mac Mini is now only $799, which is a saving $100. Mac Prices Australia also has a list of Apple accessories to receive a price cut yesterday:

Apple Magic Mouse now $75 (was $99)

Apple Mouse now $55

Apple Magic TrackPad now $75 (was $99)

Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard now $75 (was $99)

 

Adapters & Cables

Apple HDMI Cable now $20 (was $25)

Mini DisplayPort – VGA now $30 (was $45)

Mini DisplayPort – DVI now $30 (was $45)

Apple Remote now $20 (was $25)

MacBook/MacBook Pro power adapters now $89 (was $99)

 

Portable

Apple MacBook Air Super-Drive – External DVD now $89 (was $99)

Apple battery Charger with 6 x AA now $30 (was $39)

 

This follows on from last week’s relatively modest price drop on the iPod line.
