Joint Venture.
This week, Apple announced the service known as Joint Venture.
It’s a really interesting service – but I thought I’d break it down and talk about what it is, what it isn’t, etc.
However, first of all, congratulations should go to Apple.
We’ve been working with getting Apple technology into business for as long as we can remember (our goal has always been “putting Apple technology into places it wouldn’t normally go”) and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to see Apple going so well.
Apple has, through a combination of amazing products, shrewd “brand” development and an amazing retail environment, managed to bring itself back to a real resurgence.
However the main focus at the moment is on the Retail Stores – and the Joint Venture product is no different. You get:
- Data migrated for up to 5 computers – when they’re brought onsite to the Apple store.
- A loan laptop while it happens.
- Training.
- A Helpdesk number to call and “Genius” support
So how does Key Options provide a different service here? Well we can provide all of the above… but also:
- We come to you – and we’re happy to assist users at their own desks. We can schedule a time to minimise the amount of impact it has on your business.
- Training – we use the products all the time, and our staff give a cut-above training service including customising training to your requirements – and we can run training at your site or ours.
- Advice on products that aren’t “just what the Apple Store sells” – we are always on the lookout for best-of breed products – not selling what’s on a particular price list.
- Remote support – including the ability to help your users on their computers, when they are in the office or out on the road.
- Detailed network knowledge about your environment, and what’s best for you.
Would love to hear from you about how we can provide a better service, in your offices!
